Walk-thru - Weapons
This is an unofficial walk-thru of the game. Here you will find a way to defeat the game as well as some tips, cheats and other helpful matters that will help you as you play Final Fantasy VII.

This is just a preliminary guide explaining how I defeated the weapons. Anyone who finds other ways please feel free to contact me and I will list it here as well.

Emerald Weapon
First time you should do is be prepared for a long fight. The battle with Emerald Weapon will actually last longer then the one with Ruby. Get the Underwater Materia that removes the timer for the battle. This allows you to take the close to 45 minutes you will need for this fight. Honestly in the fight all I did was attack at will and make sure I healed. I had my characters at high levels and I also had mime materia to mime summons as well as the W-Item materia equipped.

Ruby Weapon
The easiest way to defeat Ruby Weapon is to simply cast the Hades summon on him or any spells that will cause stop. It may not work the first time you cast it, however if you try again he will freeze. This allows you to attack at will. At times the Weapon will return to fighting, simply cast the spell again. It is also suggest to have the W-Item materia equipped incase the Weapon is able to turn you into a toad or make your hit points low. You should enter battle with two of your characters knocked out and Final Attack-Revive combination of materia equipped. You'll get a Desert Rose which can be traded to the Kalm Travler for a Gold Chocobo, which you probably already have at this point in the game.
