About Squaresoft
Squaresoft is the makers of the Final Fantasy series. The company is based in Japan. Prior to the release of the first Final Fantasy game the compay was facing bankruptcy. Since the advent of the Final Fantasy Series the company has made games such as Crono Tiger and Parasite Eve.

Release of the Game
Final Fantasy VII was released in fall of 1997 by Squaresoft. The game can be played on both the Playstation game counsel as well as your PC.

Sales Hisotry
Following the 2000 year, Sony announced that Final Fantasy VII had reached the Best Sellers catagory, also known as Greatest Hits. This is also evident by the copies made after this announcement also including the words "Greatest Hits" on the left side of the games jewel case.

Success of the Game
The Success of Final Fantasy VII can be easily seen. The next game in the Final Fantasy Series,Final Fantasy VIII, was long awaited and a movie with the Final Fantasy Series "Final Fantasy: The spirtis within" was released in 2001. The Final Fantasty Series is running stronger today then ever and alot of that is because of Final Fantasty VII.
