NASCAR at Texas 2013: Weekend Schedule, Start Time, Practice, Qualifying, TV & Weather Info

NASCAR heads to Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas this weekend. All three series will race at the 1.5 mile track. The Truck Series will run the WinStar World Casino 350 on Friday, the Nationwide Series will run the O’Reilly Auto Parts Challenge on Saturday and the Sprint Cup cars will hit the track on Sunday for the AAA Texas 500.

This is the eighth race of the Sprint Cup Series Chase, where twelve drivers battle to become this years champion. Matt Kenseth and Jimmie Johnson are tied for the points lead. Jeff Gordon is creeping behind after his win last weekend at Martinsville, -27 points behind the leaders in third.
