The Oakland Raiders have not named their Week 1 starting quarterback. Head coach Dennis Allen said on Monday that the team may wait until Sunday to name its starter for their match-up in Indianapolis.

When asked who would start for the Raiders Allen provided no clues to the media.

The Raiders will enter the game as a considerable underdog regardless of who starts for them.

Terrelle Pryor appeared on his way to starting for the Raiders in Week 1 until he flopped in the final preseason game. Matt Flynn who was picked up from Seattle has disappointed the Raiders with his lack of arm strength, sore arm and general poor play.

While Allen may not name his starting quarterback the way the Raiders practice this week will likely provide enough clues.

The San Francisco Chronicle reported that Pryor took the first snap of practice with the first team on Monday. Whoever is taking snaps come mid-week will likely be under center.
