Raiders waive fourth-round pick Tyler Wilson

The Oakland Raiders will not carry four quarterbacks on their roster when the 2013 season begins.

On Sunday the Raiders waived fourth-round pick Tyler Wilson.

Wilson, 24, had fallen behind undrafted free agent Matt McGloin on the Raiders depth chart and now the team has cut him loose. The Raiders will have Matt Flynn, Terrelle Pryor and McGloin on their roster at quarterback when the season begins.

There is a strong chance someone will claim Wilson and attempt to stash him on their practice squad.

The Raiders still have both punters (Marquette King and Chris Kluwe) on their roster.
