When the Indianapolis Colts host the Houston Texans in Week 18,a playoff spot will be on the line in Saturday’s primetime contest.
The Colts and Texans both enter this game at 9-7. Both teams are in contention for the AFC South crown, along with the Jacksonville Jaguars who can win the division if they win on Sunday.
For the Colts a win puts them in the playoffs. There is also a scenario where they can tie but that would require Pittsburgh to loose or tie Baltimore earlier in the day.
The situation is almost the same for the Texans. A win puts them in the playoffs. They could also find their way in with a Steelers loss or tie and a Jaguars loss.

The Texans who are anchored by rookie quarterback CJ Stroud are a 1.5 point favorite against the Colts in Saturday’s game. The over/under for the game is listed at 47.5 total points.
When these two teams meet in Week 2 the Colts won 31-20.
