Justin Haley, 20, benefited from the weather in claiming his first Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series win.
Driving the No. 77 Chevrolet of Spire Motorsports, Haley was making just his third MENCS start. Haley has been competing full-time in the Xfinity Series this season driving the No. 11 Chevrolet of Kaulig Racing. Haley finished second in Friday’s Xfinity Series race and appeared to win last year’s Xfinity Series race at Daytona only to find out he had been disqualified for making a pass below the yellow line.

Haley took the lead when Kurt Busch pitted with one to go until a green flag restart. That restart never happened and with 33 laps to go and after two hours of waiting Haley was declared the winner of the Coke Zero Sugar 400.
