NASCAR race at Daytona delayed until Sunday

The Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway has been postponed u til Sunday.

After rain fell nearly two hours before the scheduled start of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series event, NASCAR delayed the start. With the forecast unfavorable for the remainder of Saturday, NASCAR made the decision to move the race to Sunday.

The race will now air on NBC and the NBC Sports App with MRN having radio coverage at 1 pm ET Sunday.

Joey Logan will be on the pole after rain forced qualifying on Friday to be cancelled.
