The start of Saturday’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series has been delayed due to rain.
Racing was supposed to start at 7:40 pm ET but NASCAR is still attempting to dry the 2.5 Daytona International Speedway after rain fell almost two hours before the start time.
NASCAR has on hand 16 Air Titans, 10 jet dryers and two track vacuums to dry the track.
Joey Logano is on the pole for the Coke Zero Sugar 400 after qualifying was rained out on Friday.
