NASCAR at Pocono and Iowa: Weekend schedule, practice qualifying and race start times

This weekend the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and the Camping World Truck Series will both compete in races at the Tricky Triangle – Pocono Raceway while the Xfinity Series is out at Iowa Speedway.

Cars and trucks will first see their respective tracks on Friday with the Cup Series back to normal and qualifying in the evening.

On Saturday the Truck Series will qualify and run the Pocono Mountains 150 while the Xfinity Series runs the U.S. Cellular 250 presented by New Holland later that night. On Sunday the Windos 10 400 takes place with 43 Sprint Cup Series drivers vying for victory at the 2.5-mile Long Pond track.

Weather Report

Weather is expected to be in the low-80s at Pocono for this weekend’s action. On Saturday there is a 40-percent chance of rain but both Friday and Sunday look fine for on track activities.
