NASCAR at Daytona July 2015: Full schedule of Practice, Qualifying and Race start times

This weekend NASCAR returns to Daytona for its annual weekend of racing over the July 4th weekend. Both the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will be in action this weekend.

On Friday cars first hit the track while qualifying for both races will take place the following Saturday. The Xfinity Series runs the Subway Firecracker 250 on Saturday night, July 4, while the Coke Zero 400 takes place on Sunday.

Daytona is making some headlines this weekend for its program in which fans can exchange a Confederate flag for an American flag.

FRIDAY, JULY 3:
2-2:55 p.m. NASCAR XFINITY Series practice, NBC Sports Network

4-4:55 p.m.: NASCAR XFINITY Series final practice, NBC Sports Network

SATURDAY, JULY 4:
2:35 p.m.: NASCAR XFINITY Series Coors Light Pole Qualifying, NBC Sports Network Suarez on pole

Weather Information

Last year rain prevented the entire Sprint Cup Series race from being run giving Aric Almirola his first career win. Rain could again be a factor with 50% chances of rain on both Saturday and Sunday. However, warm temperatures are also expected with highs in the low-90s.
