Trouble continued for Hendrick Motorsprots when the No. 88 Chevrolet SS driven by Dale Earnhardt Jr. hit the wall in Sunday’s running of the Hollywood Casino 400.
Earnhardt Jr. was winning the race when his car lost a tire and went towards the wall. The ensuing contact would knock him from the race.
The incident with Earnhardt came not long after teammate Jimmie Johnson was knocked from the race after Greg Biffle made contact with his car.
