Ryan Blaney had a dominating performance on the leaderboard and withstood a three hour rain delay to earn the victory in the Quaker State 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Bubba Wallace provided a late push for Blaney and initially was scored second, but received a penalty for going below the yellow line on the final lap of the race relegating him to a 29th place finish. A hard charging Carson Hocevar raced hard trying to earn his second career win but finished third behind Blaney and Christopher Bell who began the race 32nd.
Ty Gibbs and Erik Jones rounded out the top give while Shane Van Gisbergen continued to show improvement on ovals with a sixth place finish ahead of Austin Dillon, Tyler Reddick, Joey Logano and Chris Buescher.
In winning both stages of the race, Blaney led a race high 172 laps earning the maximum number of points for a race weekend.
Combined with an earlier victory at Phoenix, Blaney now has two wins on the season and 19 in his career.
