Brad Keselowski snuck into the top-five at the end of the FedEx 400 at Dover International Speedway. After the race the No. 2 Ford Fusion was found to be too low during post race inspections.

For Keselowski it is the latest setback on a season which has not lived up to expectations after he won the 2012 Sprint Cup Series championship.

Earlier this year Keselowski and teammate Joey Logano were hit with a 25 point penalty after the teams had unapproved modification to their rear end suspensions at Texas. Ironically Dover was the first race back for Keselowski’s crew chief Paul Wolfe and car chief Travis Geisler.

NASCAR leveled a six point penalty against Martin Truex Jr for being too low at Texas.

A six point penalty for Keselowski would drop him from eighth to 10th in the Cup Series standings. Kyle Busch and Paul Menard would both move up a spot.
