The second caution in the Aaron’s 499 started when Kyle Busch made contact with Kasey Kahne’s right rear. The result was damage to at-least ten additional cars.
Brian Vickers who had replaced Denny Hamlin as the driver of the No. 11 car was one of the cars who receieved the msot damage. Kevin Harvick, Greg Biffle, Tony Stewart, Marcos Ambrose, Jamie McMurray, David Reutimann, Jeff Burton, Casey Mears and Scott Speed were also damaged during the crash.
Martin Truex Jr. was able to slow his Toyota down enough to avoid making any contact with spinning cars while Danica Patrick relied on help from her spotter to avoid the wreck.
