When the Sprint Cup Series returns to the track at Martinsville the No. 15 car of Clint Bowyer will look a tad different. That is because RK Motors will serve as the primary sponsor for Bowyer’s Toyota.
“RK Motors Charlotte is a labor of love for Rob Kauffman and everyone involved and it shows down to the very last detail in the work they do”, said Bowyer. “Their attention to detail, craftsmanship and ability to market custom and classic cars is second to none. They’ve figured it out and found a winning formula. I’d love to get a win for them with their colors on the car to see if they’d put it in their showroom.”
Bowyer finished second in the Sprint Cup Series standings last season and is currently 14th this year after the first five races.
And of course who can forget last year at Martinsville when Bowyer went for the lead and took out the cars driven by Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon.
Ryan Newman claimed the victory that day.
The STP Gas Booster 500 will be held on Sunday, April 7th. FOX will coverage at 12:30pm EST with green flag dropping at 1pm EST.
