Go Green Racing to run Cup Series race at Richmond

The No. 79 Ford Fusion of Go Green Racing will make its NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season debut at Richmond International Raceway in late April.  A driver for the car was not announced in the initial press release.

Go Green Racing plans to compete in 8-10 races in the Cup Series this year while running the full event.

Last year Go Green Racing fielded a car for six races with drivers Kelly Bires, Mike Skinner and Scott Speed. The trio of drivers combined for an average finish of 41.7, a number that should improve when the team runs full events.

The team also fields a Nationwide Series car which has run the first five races with Jeffrey Earnhardt and Paulie Harraka.
