GEICO announced today that they will sponsor the No. 13 Ford Fusion driven by Casey Mears though the 2014 season. Mears began driving the No. 13 car at Germain Racing midway though the 2010 season.
The one car team experienced their best season in 2012 as they qualified for all 36 Sprint Cup races. Mears led 41 laps highlighted by his 26 laps led at Bristol.
Mears finished eighth in his Budweiser Duel race on Thursday.
