Michael McDowell will start the GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway on the pole.
The NASCAR Cup Series returns to Talladega and the 2.66-mile track for the first time this season. Talladega is both loved and hated by drivers and fans alike for its pack racing and close finishes.
McDowell is joined by Austin Cindric giving it a all-Ford front row for the start of the race.
