Curtis Key’s racing team, The Motorsports Group, has expanded to include an engine program for multiple racing series.

The Motorsports Group will produce engines which will run in the NASCAR Nationwide and Camping World Truck Series as well as the ARCA series in 2013.

“We are excited to enter the racing engine market with our program, we look forward to providing quality engines for competitive marketplace.” said Key in a statement.

The team fielded as many as four Nationwide entries last season which acted primarily as start-and-parks. They are currently seeking sponsorship in hopes of running the No. 40 car of Erik Darnell full-time. Darnell had an average finish of 26th and was 17th in the final Nationwide driver standings.
