Ken Schrader to run ten races, race at Eldora

Ken Schrader drove the No. 32 car for Frank Stoddard in 13 races in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series last season. The 57-year-old driver will run ten races in 2013 for the team.

“We run 28th or 32nd most of the time, but we still have fun out there racing, well, I guess we have fun out there running around,” Schrader said while speaking at the IMIS. “We’re going to run 10 races next year. The only bad thing about that is that it shoots the hell out of 10 weekends that we could be out running the modified somewhere.”

Next season will mark the 29th year at the Cup level for Schrader.

Schrader also announced that he was planning to run the upcoming race at Eldroa in the Camping World Truck Series.

“We’re putting a truck together to go over and run the race at Eldora,” said Schrader.

That race will be the first Truck Series event on dirt and will be run on July 24th.  Schrader has run 99 races in the truck series with his last race being at Talladega in 2010.
