IndyCar has a history with Toronto dating back to 1986. The 11 turn course measures 1.786 miles (2.874km) with a surface of asphalt and concrete.

This weekend the IndyCar Series will run 85 laps at the track that squeezes past downtown and features a long frontstretch and a hard right-handed turn which provide great overtaking options for drivers.

Previous Winner

Scott Dixon won this event in 2022. He is a four-time winner of this race. Will Power has won at this track three times. Other drivers in the field who have won at Toronto include Simon Pagenaud, Josef Newgarden (2) and Ryan Hunter-Reay.

Weather

Temps are expected to be in the high 70s or low 80s this race weekend. While there is a chance of rain on Friday, the real concern comes on Saturday where the chance raises to 75%. On Sunday there is a 55% chance of rain which could make race strategy interesting.
