Byron scores Homestead pole, lineup for Dixie Vodka 400

William Byron is on the pole for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Byron’s speed of 166.389 bested Christopher Bell, Chase Elliott, John Hunter Nemechek, and Kyle Larson who will found out the top-five.

Sunday’s race will air on NBC and MRN radio beginning at 2:30 pm ET. The green flag is set to waive at 2:43 pm ET. The race will consist of 267 laps for a total of 400.5 miles with stage breaks following laps 80 and 165.

With just Homestead and Martinsville remaining before the Championship race at Phoenix, the question of who will join Joey Logano in the champion four will be asked frequently during this race.
