Matt Schaub is almost assured of starting the regular season as the Oakland Raiders starting quarterback. Second round draft pick Derek Carr will not play in Friday’s game against Green Bay.
While a strong performance by Carr may have placed the heat on Schaub that will not happen on Friday night. Odds are in Carr’s favor that he will start at some point this season. How well Schaub players in the early weeks of the season will determine when Carr hits the field.
