Colts re-sign punter Pat McAfee

The Indianapolis Colts have re-signed punter Pat McAfee.

During an appearance on NFL Network’s NFL AM on Friday morning, McAfee announced that he has signed a five-year deal to remain with the Colts.

McAfree has been handling the kickoff duties for the Colts and remains one of the best punters in the game. He played the 2013 season on the franchise tag, but the Colts and McAfee have struck a long term deal this time.

It remains to be seen how this will affect the Colts efforts to keep Adam Vinatieri who made $3.4 million last season.
