After witnessing the Dallas Cowboys win on Thanksgiving the Philadelphia Eagles are in a must win situation if they’d like to become a playoff team. The Cowboys currently lead the NFC East by one game over the Eagles and they do hold the tie breaker.
The Eagles face off with the Arizona Cardinals at 1:00 PM EST on Sunday. The Cardinals also are gunning for the playoffs in the NFC West.
The Eagles also received some clarification going forward; they were told Nick Foles will be their full-time QB for the remainder of this season. Foles had that monster game against the Raiders scoring 7 TD’s tying and NFL record for the most TD’s thrown in a single game. Foles take the starting spot of Michael Vick.
The Eagles also are coming off a bye week giving them a little bit of extra help in the stamina category.
Foles might have issues throwing the ball today due to the Cardinals deadly corner back, Patrick Peterson. The Cardinals have the second best rush defense in the NFL which could give LeSean McCoy trouble.
This game will be determined by which offense out performs the other’s defense. Who will win the battle of the birds, the Eagles or the Cardinals?
