While Aaron Rodgers may have been targeting a return to the Green Bay Packers in Week 14 there is concern that the quarterback will not be able to play against the Atlanta Falcons.
At 5-6-1 the Packers know their playoff hopes are on life support. The Packers may choose to shut Rodgers down reports Ian Rapoport of NFC Network.
Dec. 8 has been the target date for #Packers QB Aaron Rodgers to return. Source now tells me “he’d be lucky” to be able to return this week

Seneca Wallace, Matt Flynn and Scott Tozien have netted three losses and a tie for the Packers since Rodgers injury against the Chicago Bears.
Rodgers was reportedly throwing without pain prior to Thanksgiving Day’s game but perhaps there is a chance that the quarterback is not entirely healed. The Packers seem to have little reason to play Rodgers if they do deem their playoff hopes gone.
