Dexter Manley insults Troy Aikman on radio show

SUPER BOWL XXII

Dexter Manley insulted former Dallas Cowboys quarterback and FOX announcer on a DC area radio show early Monday.

Manley was asked to talk about the Washington Redskins loss to the Denver Broncos. The Redskins held a 21-7 lead before the Broncos reeled off 38 unanswered points in the second half.

At the end of the segment WTOP’s hosts attempted to poke some humor into the segment. It did not go over well.

“Was it a big jinx that Troy Aikman was doing the game, the former Cowboy?” Manley was asked at the end of the segment.”

“I think Troy was a queer,” Manley said.

The hosts immediately made it clear that this was not a topic for humor, and encouraged Manley to step back.

“I’m sorry about that,” he said. “I take that back”

When prompted more  Manley said “I apologize.”
