The Minnesota Vikings (1-6) have started three different quarterbacks this season. Who will start next week for the Vikings is anyone’s guess after head coach Leslie Frazier declined to name a starter during a Monday press conference.
Frazier did indicate that Matt Cassel was not being considered for the Week 9 start.
In Sunday nights game against Green Bay the Vikings welcomed Christian Ponder back. Â Ponder was 14-of-21 for 145 yards in a 44-31 loss.
Ponder’s start came because Week 7 starter Josh Freeman was out with a concussion. Freeman played poorly during his lone start with the Vikings, which came shortly after his release from Tampa Bay.
