Tickets to the NASCAR Cup Series season opener are sold out.
On Thursday, Daytona International Speedway announces that the Daytona 500 had sold out for the fifth consecutive year.
“The DAYTONA 500 is one of the greatest events in sports and will unfold in front of a packed house,” Daytona International Speedway President Chip Wile said. “We have the most loyal and passionate fans in sports and we are forever grateful for their support. We look forward to another thrilling edition of “The Great American Race” as we kick-off the new NASCAR season.”
According to the press release from the track people from every US state and 48 countries will be present at the 2.5 mile track.
