Hamlin on Cup pole at Homestead, Ford EcoBoost 400 qualifying set by rulebook

Denny Hamlin will lead the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series to the green flag in the final race of the 2019 season. Qualifying for the race was cancelled due to bad weather on Friday. In place of the qualifying teams were able to have a practice session.

Four drivers remain eligible for the MENCS title; Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch, Martin Truex Jr. and Hamlin.
