Rain hits MIS, could impact NASCAR race

Rain hit Michigan International Speedway on Sunday morning raising concerns as to whether or not the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series will be run.

The National Weather Service has rain at a 60% chance at the scheduled race time of 2 p.m. ET.

Jet dryers took to the 2-mile track at 10 a.m. ET but chances of rain exist throughout the day. Current plans from the track has everything going on as previously schedule.
