NASCAR Cup race at Michigan to take place Monday

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Michigan International Speedway has been postponed until Monday at 5 pm ET.

The track released the following statement:

Unfortunately, weather forced a postponement of today’s FireKeepers Casino 400. The race is rescheduled for Monday, June 10 at 5 p.m. ET. When determining a postponed race time, we work closely with NASCAR and the broadcast partners to find a start time that works for as many of our fans as possible. The weather forecast calls for overnight and morning showers, and clear skies in the afternoon and early evening. If all holds true, we should be racing under sunny skies tomorrow afternoon.

We appreciate our fans for their attendance, and hope you can return for tomorrow’s race. Gates will open 3 p.m.

Should you have any questions or concerns please contact our ticket office at 517-592-6666 or at 12626 U.S. Highway 12 Brooklyn, MI 49230 or email mitickets@mispeedway.com.
