NASCAR at Charlotte: Memorial Weekend Schedule, Race and TV Info

The biggest race weekend of the season is upon us. In addition to the F1 at Monaco and the famed Indianapolis 500, the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series will run a race on Sunday.

Track activity for NASCAR starts on Thursday at the track just miles away from most of the teams in the garage. On Thursday both the Xfinity and MENCS will be on the track with MENCS qualifying and the ARCA Menards Series running of the General Tire 150 finishing the night. The track is silent as is tradition for Friday.

Saturday sees more MENCS practice in addition to the Xfinity Series qualifying and running of the ALSCO 300. Come Sunday it is all about the Coca-Cola 600 which is scheduled to begin just after 6 p.m. ET.

Weather

After what could be a rainy Thursday with a high of 89, the temperature gets hot. With lows of 70 and highs in the mid to upper 90’s and clear skies race fans better prepare for the sun and drink plenty of fluids.
