The iK9 Service Dog 200 began with Christopher Bell on the pole. Austin Cindric would go on to win the first stage but Bell would rally back to claim the second, his third stage win of the season.
Kyle Busch, who entered the day with 197 wins across NASCAR’s top three series, entered the weekend hoping to get himself a chance to eclipse 200 NASCAR wins before leaving the west coast. With 70 laps to go caution came out when the No. 01 of Stephen Leicht blew up. Bell and Justin Allgaier would both crash after running behind him while smoke covered the track.

Busch would go onto claim his 11th Xfinity Series win at ISM Raceway. The win ties a record held by Mark Martin who had the series best of 11 wins at Rockingham.
