After an introduction, the complete Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series aero package for 2019 will be on display this weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. All three of NASCAR’s top series will head out west this week after races at Daytona and Atlanta.
Always a popular stop, Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS) is 1.5 miles around with banking of 12-20 degrees in the turns. Even with great weather it will be hard for NASCAR to fill up the 80,000 seats LVMS holds.
The truck series hits the track on Thursday but tv viewers will not be able to watch. On Friday the MENCS and Xfinity Series practice with the former also qualifying. The trucks will qualify and compete in the Strat 200 as well. On Saturday more MENCS practice takes place sandwiched around Xfinity Series qualifying with the Boyd Gaming 300 taking place to end the day. When Sunday arrives the MENCS will return to the track for the Pennzoil 400.

NASCAR looks to avoid bad weather this weekend by heading out west. The sun is expected to be out but clouds may cover it from time to time. The good news is that rain is unlikely.
