When Ryan Newman competes in the 2019 Clash All-Star event to kick off Daytona Speedweeks he will do so with Wyndham Rewards.
Newman’s car will feature Wyndham Rewards on his No. 6 Ford Mustang for the Feb. 10 event.
“We are thrilled to have Wyndham Rewards on board for the season and on the car for our kickoff event in 2019,” said Newman. “The Clash is a great event and always an exciting way to kick off the season. “It is a limited, all-star field, with a winner take all mentality and it usually leads to some thrilling racing. It would be a great opportunity to kick of the season with a win and take Wyndham for a ride to victory lane.”
Mark Martin drove the No. 6 to victory lane in the 1999 version of the event, marking Jack Roush’s only Clash victory. Newman has run the Clash on 14 times with a best finish of second in 2005. He is the winner of the 2008 Daytona 500.
Last year Wyndham Rewards joined Roush Fenway as a primary sponsor with Matt Kenseth driving the No. 6 car.
