Ryan Newman’s Oscar Mayer car is the stuff of childhood dreams

Oscar Mayer will return to Roush Fenway Racing as a sponsor of the No. 6 Ford Mustang driven by Ryan Newman in 2019.

The first time Newman will drive the Oscar Mayer paint scheme which is orange, yellow and features hot dogs on the side panels is the season opening Daytona 500.

“The Daytona 500 is obviously one of the biggest and most iconic races in the world,” said Newman, the 2008 winner of the Daytona 500. “And I can’t think of a better way to kick off the season and our partnership with Oscar Mayer; one of the most beloved brands in the world.”

“We’re honored to be a season-long sponsor of driver Ryan Newman and Roush Fenway Racing,” said Matt Riezman, Associate Director for Oscar Mayer. “We have big plans to support the sport and the No. 6 Oscar Mayer Ford Mustang this year and can’t wait to share our love for tasty Oscar Mayer bacon, cold cuts and hot dogs with NASCAR fans.”

The Oscar Mayer paint scheme of Newman will change each time it hits the track with hot dogs, bacon and cold cuts among the items to be featured.

Roush Fewnay Racing and Oscar Mayer have a relationship dating back to the early 2000’s when they were an associate sponsor of cars driven by Matt Kenseth and Kurt Busch.
