NASCAR at Darlington: Weekend Schedule, race start times and tv viewing info

Both the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and teh Xfinity Series will be in action this weekend at Darlington Raceway. The Camping World Truck Series will have an off week.

Did you know that: Known as the “Lady in Black” or the track “Too Tough to Tame” Darlington has been a fixture for NASCAR since opening back in 1950. The egg shaped track which measures 1.366 miles was designed that way so to not disturb the minnow farm of the farmer who previously owned the property.

Weather

It will be hot. Temps will be in the low to mid-90s and even with cloud cover it will feel like triple digits at times, all which should make for a slick track.  By the time Sunday’s Cup race takes place temps should be falling from the 90s to the mid to low 80s. Rain is not expected to be a factor at Darlington.
