Major League Baseball is having players weekend and one of the more interesting jersey, bat, shoe combinations belongs to Reds second baseman Scooter Gennett.
Gennett who changed his number from 4 to 3 prior to start this season is going a step further this weekend honoring the 7-time NASCAR Cup Series champion with his name, and even some special “good year” and “Goodwrench”shoes. Even Gennett’s bat will have flags on it.
Earlier this year Gennett made his first All-Star game.
