NASCAR at Pocono: Weekend Schedule, race start time and tv info

Both the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and the Xfinity Series will see action this weekend at the tricky triangle known as Pocono Raceway.

Known for having three defined turns instead of four, Pocono also has a history of wildlife and weather problems which seemingly has been a problem for NASCAR fans for years.  Located in Long Pond, PA, Pocono seats just north of 76,000 and measures 2.5 miles around.

Fans will hardly be surprised to find that weather may again be a factor at Pocono. Temperatures will drop as the weekend moves along from a high of 82 on Friday to 76 on Saturday to just a high of 64 for the Cup race. The chances of rain are high for both Friday and Saturday before dropping to just 30% on Sunday.
