There are 37 cars on the entry list for Sunday’s annual running of the Auto Club 400 in Fontana, California.
This is the same number of cars which entered in the last two Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series events. There is a bit of a change in drivers on the entry list as the no. 96 car driven by D.J. Kennington is not included while the No. 55 driven by Reed Sorenson will return to action. With NASCAR allowing 40 cars to compete, all drivers on the entry list will make the Auto Club 400.
The fifth race of the season will ask the question as to whether Kevin Harvick will win his fourth race in a row after claiming the checkered flag at Atlanta, Las Vegas and Phoenix.
Kyle Larson, seeking to build on some strong runs already in 2018, can lay claim to being the winner of both the Xfinity and Cup Series events at Auto Club Speedway last year.
