NASCAR at Phoenix: ISM Raceway weekend schedule, start times, and tv info

NASCAR’s early season venture out west continues this weekend with both the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and the Xfinity Series running at ISM Raceway, the track formerly known as Phoenix International Raceway.

Sitting in Avondale, AZ, ISM Raceway seats 51,000 fans and first opened in 1964.

Entry List: 37 cars entered in MENCS race at ISM Raceway

Activity begins on Friday with races to be held on Saturday and Sunday. IndyCar measured the track at 1.022 miles but NASCAR still is counting a lap at one mile.

Weather

Rain will stay away from the event this weekend and the weather is expected to be nice. Friday will be the warmest with a high of 84 while Saturday and Sunday both see temps almost reaching 80. There could be some cloud cover during both the Xfinity and Monster Energy Cup Series races.
