After a week of activity in Daytona, the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series now heads to Atlanta Motor Speedway (AMS) for the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500.
Currently there are 36 entries for the Cup race at Atlanta. With just 36 entries into the field of 40, all teams will make Sunday’s race.
Located in Hampton, Georgia, Atlanta Motor Speedway first opened in July of 1960. The track seats 71,000 fans and is listed as being 1.54 miles around.
Brad Keselowski went to victory lane at AMS last season. The race will be broken into three segments with stops at 85 and 170 laps completed and the checkered flag at 325 laps.
