“I’m very excited to have Bass Pro Shops as a primary co-sponsor on the #78 Furniture Row Racing Toyota,” said Truex. “In addition to my passion for fishing, hunting and the outdoors, Bass Pro Shops founder Johnny Morris is a personal friend and a hunting buddy. With our manufacturer changing to Toyota, our Furniture Row Racing team is positioned to take both companies to Victory Lane and contend for the 2016 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championship.”

When Bass Pro Shops is not the primary sponsor they will appear in an associate role. Truex previously was sponsored by Bass Pro Shops while at Dale Earnhardt Inc. from 2004-2009 which resulted in two Xfinity Series Championships.

“We are thrilled to continue our longstanding relationship with Martin Truex Jr. – a passionate driver and outdoor lover – while further aligning with our friends at Toyota,” said Johnny Morris, founder of Bass Pro Shops. “NASCAR is an excellent platform for Bass Pro Shops and we are pleased to continue our strong alignments with Tony Stewart, Ty Dillon and Jamie McMurray.”
