This is it. Four drivers enter Sunday’s Ford EcoBoost 400 at Homestead with a chance to win the 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championship.
Will it be Denny Hamlin, Kevin Harvick, Joey Logano or Ryan Newman who leaves Homestead with their first Sprint Cup Series title?
Beginning the race on the pole will be Jerf Gordon. While 43 cars will be in this race all eyes will be on the four championship hopefuls. The highest starting of them is Kevin Harvick in fifth.
Sunday’s race will consist of 267 laps round the 1.5-mile Homestead Speedway for a total of 401 miles. Coverage of this race will air on ESPN beginning at 3:00 pm ET with the green flag waiving at 3:16 pm ET.
Winning this race a year ago was Denny Hamlin. The last time the winner of this race won the Sprint Cup Series title was 2011 in Tony Stewart.
