Chris Buescher wins Nationwide Series race at Mid-Ohio, full results

Chris Buescher won Saturday’s NASCAR Nationwide Series race from the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, OH.

The driver of the No. 60 Ford Mustang finished ahead of Regan Smith and Brian Scott.

Beginning the Nationwide Children’s Hospital 200 on the pole was Sam Hornish Jr. but his day went away just past the midway point with engine trouble.  Brian Scott led a good portion of the race early on but was forced to pit road with grass on his grill on lap 60.

In the end it was Buescher, who stayed out of troble, being able to stretch his gas mileage and claim the win.
