Tyler Walker is nearing a plea deal in Utah for his court case which stemmed from a high speed chase though three states which saw the former NASCAR Nationwide Series driver arrested in the possession of controlled substances.

Walker allegedly drove 150 mph evading police though Nevada and Arizona before being arrested in Utah. Arresting officers reported finding methamphetamine, marijuana and vodka in the car driven by Walker.

The 35-year-old was suspended by NASCAR in 2007 for violating its substance abuse policy. Walker is said to have already reached a plea deal on Arizona charges.
