Cole Whitt, driver of the No. 26 BK Racing Toyota went off course during Sunday’s Cheez-It 355 at Watkins Glen
Whitt appeared to lose the brakes of his car and headed into the tire barrier in turn 1.
The incident made Whitt, who was 19th at the time, the first car headed to the garage.
