Matt Kenseth will leave Dover International Speedway with the points lead in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
Jeff Gordon entered Dover with a 11 point lead over Matt Kenseth. Following 400 laps at the 1-mile Dover International that lead is now Kenseth’s by 2 though without a win he still is not guaranteed a spot in the Chase. Jimmie Johnson is the points leader based on wins with two.

Winners thus far this season include Kevin Harvick (2), Joey Logano (2), Jimmie Johnson (2) Kurt Busch, Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch, Carl Edwards, Brad Keselowski, Dale Earnhardt Jr and Jeff Gordon. These drivers are all but assured a spot in the Sprint Chase.
